Durango Mountain Resort, formerly "Purgatory Resort", is located in the southwest area of Colorado, just 25 miles north of Durango, CO. They have some awesome scenery to go along with some great skiing and snowboarding. There are lodging options on slope and back in the town of Durango. Durango offers several shopping and dining options as well. Durango Mountain Resort has recently improved their snowmaking systems, creating the opportunity to get an early season jump on their base. They also have a new and improved terrain park.
